BGSA’S EVENING SESSION – ASTRO NAVIGATION, FIRE LIGHTING, STALKING & SMORES – THEME, THE WILDERNESS. Each evening you will join round the campfire area with our survival instructors who will teach you about astro navigation and how to find north using the stars and constellations visible in the night sky. You will practise your fire lighting skills and make delicious Smores, yummy. In pairs, you will play a stalking game - You must avoid detection by keeping close to the ground and blending in as much as possible with the surrounding environment. Beware of your shape, shine, shadow, silhouette and human style of movement as any of these could give you away to would-be attackers, snipers or spotters.
